Edge Profiles

Some of the more popular edge profiles – others are available on request.  Bear in mind all of our edges are hand made – the more ornate the edge the more expensive it will be as the more skilled labour is required to complete.

This does mean however that the edge will be perfect as all are finished by eye and subject to the strictest quality control.

Drainer Area

The Drainer area on your worktop is very important to the overall look you are trying to achieve in your kitchen – most people want that complete stone look and a drain area that’s clutter free

Drainer Lines
These are simplest way of creating that elegant simple look as the lines are scored out of the stone and hand polished to finish – these usually come in fours but extras can be added if requested

Fully Recessed Drainer Area
A fully recessed drainer area really is the last word in luxury for your kitchen – the entire area around the drain and sink is routed out (top layer of stone removed) drainer lines are added and the whole effect when matched with the sink and tap is spectacular.

Sinks – Cut out options

Standard sink cutout – The standard cut out is basically a hole cut into the stone where the sink is going to be over mounted – your standard stainless sink would fall into this category.

Under mounted sink cut outs, this type of sink cut out with granite worktops is becoming more and more popular in today’s market – this is where the sink is fixed to the stone worktop from below and gives the impression of a seamless steel to stone meeting around the rim – when combined with drainer lines – it looks very impressive – this involved cutting the hole to an exact measurement and also hand polishing around the rim so both meet flawlessly.

  1. Single bowl (1 hole).
  2. Bowl and a half (1 hole).
  3. Bowl and a half (2 holes).

If you supply us with a template that the sink manufacturer supplies we will cut to this measurement.
